Into Your Hands" Acrylic on Canvas 24 W x 30 H
Prophetic painting by Ronelda Neufeld 2013.
A vision of full surrender. As Ronelda stood praying in the presence of God on a Sunday morning at a church in 2013. Ronelda was overwhelmed by the love of Jesus. She raised her hands to heaven, and in her heart, she called out to God, "Here I am, take me, use me, all of me, Lord." Suddenly Ronelda saw the beginning of her new life as she fully surrendered herself to God. In her raised hands was a vision of a baby. This baby represented her self: trusting God with everything as if she was in the hands of God, her Father. He created us for a purpose, and at that moment, she realized her life was not her own, but God had ownership. This journey of commitment to God begins as a baby Christian and grows as we daily look to Him. Total dedication and consecration of oneself to the Lord. Jesus said, Father, Into Your Hands I Commit My Spirit (Luke 23:46). This painting speaks of total surrender of the whole spirit, soul, and whole body to the Lord. We find that Jesus surrendered his whole spirit, soul, and body to God in the obedience of Baptism of water in the Jordan River. Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I Am well pleased. This painting is also dedicated to those who have lost a child. Nothing is lost in God's kingdom; every baby and every child that has prematurely left this earth is now in the hands of Jesus. We, as believers, are reassured by God that in the next world, there will be the most significant family reunion. Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring healing to precious hearts, and the love of God would embrace all. May The Lord's kiss of acceptance and forgiveness bring wholeness to every part of our life. Love Barry and Ronelda.
